We are pleased to announce the release of REP 5.0.1 for the PAE Addons Beech A36 Bonanza.

This update focuses on stability, refinements, and overall quality.
As with every major initial release, REP 5.0.0 exposed some issues. Therefore, REP 5.0.1 addresses user feedback and resolves several problems that emerged after launch.

At the same time, this update continues our long-term commitment to improving REP.
REP is an evolving product, and regular updates are always part of our roadmap.

Engine and Sound Improvements

REP 5.0.1 introduces multiple refinements to the engine model and its sound environment.

We fine tuned cylinder compression to better reflect real-world engine behavior.
In addition, we adjusted internal parameters to improve engine response across different operating conditions.

We also refined engine sounds.
As a result, audio feedback now reacts more accurately to RPM, engine load, and operating state, creating a more consistent and immersive experience.

Fixes and Quality Improvements

Beyond engine-related work, REP 5.0.1 fixes several visual, functional, and usability issues.

We corrected problems related to avionics state saving and cockpit configuration.
Moreover, we aligned multiple instruments to ensure accurate readings during flight.

Finally, we resolved platform-specific issues that mainly affected macOS users.
Overall, these changes significantly improve reliability and daily usability.

What’s Next: REP 5.0.1 for All Aircraft

In the coming days, we will release REP 5.0 in beta form for all other REP-supported aircraft.

REP has always gone beyond a traditional plugin.
From the beginning, REP has replaced X-Plane’s default onboard systems with fully custom logic. This approach defines REP’s core philosophy.

With REP 5.0, this concept evolves even further.

We are introducing deeper and more advanced system modeling, with major improvements to how onboard systems interact with each other. Engine logic, electrical systems, and sound behavior now operate as a single, fully integrated simulation layer.

REP is not an add-on that sits on top of X-Plane.
REP is a complete replacement of X-Plane default systems, built to deliver consistency, realism, and long-term evolution across all supported aircraft.

How to Get the Update

REP 5.0.1 is a free update for all current users.

You can install it in two ways:

As always, thank you for your continued support and feedback.
