We’ve released REP version 4.8.11. This update brings several improvements for the PAE G36 Bonanza and a small but important fix for the default Cirrus SR22 in X-Plane 12.
The focus is on refining the G36’s systems and visuals, while also addressing a critical issue in the Cirrus.
What’s New in REP v4.8.11
PAE G36 Bonanza
- Fixed an issue with Turbo Boost. It now delivers the correct performance across all power settings.
- Improved fuel flow accuracy at altitude in the turbonormalized configuration.
- Cockpit textures received a significant upgrade.
Mihir Panchal from PAE improved the visual quality by using higher-resolution texture maps and more advanced PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials. Thanks to this work, the cockpit now shows better material definition, more realistic reflections, and sharper details. This adds to the overall immersion, especially in various lighting conditions.
Default Cirrus SR22
- Fixed a bug with the TKS anti-ice system. When using the economy system and stopping the sim, the TKS fluid didn’t refill. It now works as expected.
How to Update
This update is free for all REP users.
You can update in two ways:
- Use the SkunkCrafts Updater to install the latest version directly.
- Or download the full package again from the X-Plane Store (store.x-plane.org) and reinstall it from scratch.
